Best Cellar

Description: The Best Cellar is a once-a-month evening of folk music, at a price anyone can afford. Admission: $2 – $10, whatever you can afford. Kids are free and welcome. Coffee, tea and cookies for 50 cents. 7:30 – James Wilson Irish music with passion and heart. 8:30 – Tom and Ellen Demarest Tom is one of the “founders” of the Best Cellar and has probably had more songs played on the show “Car Talk, with Click and Clack” than any other songwriter.
Hike It Baby: McDonald Forest Family Hike
When: Sat, March 28, 10am – 12pm

Starting Your Garden

Description: Yes, the topic we all have been waiting for! The true sign that spring is here… prepping the garden. Come with a notepad because this class will be loaded with information. We will cover seed starting, seeds verses starts, the timing of both and what “square-foot gardening” is and if it is right for you. We can’t wait to share all this great information with you!
Grape Day 2015
When: Tue, March 31, 9am – 3pm

Description: This one-day event features important findings from research conducted by members of the Oregon Wine Research Institute. On-site registration is to obtain your conference proceedings, name tag, and enjoy beverages before the beginning of the event.
Seeing the Forest: A Chronicle of Forest Restoration Following the Spotted Owl
When: Thu, April 2, 7:00pm – 8:30pm
Where: Corvallis-Benton County Public Library, 645 Northwest Monroe Avenue, Corvallis, OR 97330, United States (map)
Description: View a 25-minute video documentary about the sweeping changes in the past 20 years on the Siuslaw National Forest. Then dialogue with a panel of two distinguished OSU forestry profs, and the current and former Siuslaw forest supervisors. What does the future hold for our public lands? Cost: Free, open to the public.
2 Towns Drink and Draw
When: Sat, April 4, 6pm – 8pm

Description: Join 2 Towns Ciderhouse for a “Drink and Draw” night from 6pm to 8pm on Saturday, April 4th. Teaching Artist Diana Ryan will lead a basic drawing lesson for all skill levels. Bring art supplies if you’ve got ‘em (sketch book, paper, pencils, colored pencils, eraser), we’ll have extras if you don’t. Come prepared to drink cider, socialize, and have fun while creating some art!
